A priest blesses an early-morning worshipper at an service honoring the virgin Mary in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Thousands of orthodox arrive at the church before dawn to pray to the Virgin, and to gain favor with God.

Wow, I love how surreal the photo turned out. Oh, and the rim light on the guy to the left’s face. Most of all, I like that you only can see pieces of everyone’s faces, adding the the mystery of the photo (and the mystery of honoring Mary even).
