das wandern

let me continue in peace, and (stop) wander(ing)!

don’t believe one grows older. I think that what happens early on in
life is that at a certain age one stands still and stagnates.

t.s. elliot

(for me, that age is 5.)

i’ve learned some things:
i don’t need to have all the answers right now.
in fact, i don’t even need to have most of the answers right now.
sure, i’m probably making some of the more important decisions of my life these days.
sure, i’m probably screwing up some of the more important opportunities of my life these days.

but, the truth is,
and the reality is,

i’m not in charge–
he is.

{i’ve also learned what seems real to me
    isn’t always reality.}

whate’er my god ordains is right,
holy his will abideth.

i will be still whate’er he does,

and follow where he guideth.

and brandon is more man than sweetheart.
(i would know. apparently i’m his fiancee.)

he holds me that i shall not fall

wherefore to him i leave it all

i have learned much this week.
i am content. i am loved.
i love.
i live.
but mostly:
    he is true.
