sunday night i went to my hometown of memphis
to see the beautiful
and talented amy cox.

amy was absolutely amazing.
i’m blessed to see God working through her.

oh, and derek webb was there as well.

in fact, everyone was there.
you should have gone.

[oh, and just so no one feels left out, “everyone” means:
duckie, brad moore, hollis, and david smith.]

derek played freebird. and yellow submarine.
i like d. webb a lot and a lot.
yeah, and he’s a pretty funny guy.

he told us, “don’t go to college.”

and then, at the suggestiong of hollis, i got artsy.

i give the concert three thumbs up.
yes, three. it was definintely the best d. webb concert this summer.

then we all went over to david and matt’s apartment.
i got to hear some hardcore hymns.
and “mary had a little lamb.”
there were also rumors of making out.

’twas a fun night. those guys are so weird.

i have now posted pictures.
everyone can sleep well again.
