the last week or so has been a fun adventure.
last wednesday, matt came and visited for a couple days.
we watched some movies. i finally saw harry potter.
i decided that matt’s a pretty cool kid. he entertains me a great deal.
friday morning we got up super ridiculously early (5:30 a.m.)
we followed susan crotts (she’s the coolest. ever.) to nashville.
there, we met up with the union photo people.
it was fun, fun times.
here’s what i learned (in random blair order. kinda.):
ducky is a classic beauty.
jon blair is also a classic beauty.
it’s really, really, really hot in downtown nashville in the early afternoon.
i don’t like people touching my feet. (tyler also learned this.)
me and kat are master crayon cutters. yeah. i’m seriously considering changing my major.
i should always, always keep cash on me when traveling. (unless i want susan yelling at me.)
i don’t like honey-sesame things.
i need to buy some thick skin.
ummm. that’s all i can remember right now.
after the photo “thing” i went to the spin doctors and collective soul concert downtown. i enjoyed it a great deal.
(and i didn’t tell david the spin doctors were going to be there. ha!)
then i drove to wartburg, tennessee. for a photo assignment.
i stalked this poor girl, lana, for a couple days. she’s a summer missionary.
she’s really crazy-cool. i was really inspired by her boldness.
while i was in wartburg, i hung out with the one and only bradley moore,
and with his youth group. we went swimming. in the rain. how awesome is that?
then i drove home in the rain. it was scary. i almost died. but then i didn’t.
it seems that there’s a lot more i want to say, but i can’t think.
maybe i’m just not trying hard enough.
i’ll post something insightful about the weekend soon.
until then, here’s some pictures i took that make me happy.
it’s a green wall. with some orange chairs.
this is kirsten marie. she’s “free.” she is my new friend from backyard bible club.
