das wandern

let me continue in peace, and (stop) wander(ing)!

i’ve spent a lot of time in my geo metro this week.
and the volume is set at 31,
the windows are down (to let all the rain in),
and i’ve got this song on repeat:

been thinking a lot about my ways
guess i’m sorry, baby
been searching
out a way to say
guess i’m sorry, baby
this time i give all to you
it’s time i prove something to you

so i’ll lift you up and hold you near
warm your heart and calm your fears
see i don’t want to lose this love i found
so i’ll burn my bridges
burn them down

been hurting a lot without you here
guess i need you, baby
been sleeping upon a bed of tears
guess i miss you, baby
this time i give all to you
it’s time i prove something to you

take all my world and shake it
take my dear heart and embrace it
take what i say and listen
my world’s changing
changing for you

here’s my week (so far) in words and pictures:

sunday = girls’ night out
we went to see the king and i.
great fun, great fun.

monday = first day of CBA

interview with caedmon’s call.

we were lost downtown (especially brent).

interview with phil (a fun australian guy with a guitar).

then angela and i…
got lost downtown
found the fox theatre
swam across the street
met alicia (who is awesome)
pretended we were important and sat in front.

first we saw this guy from day of fire (i was impressed.)

then there were some other people, including this guy with cool hair. (if you know who he is, you win.)

then some more people, including bebo.

tuesday = more cba

i got lots of free books.
i met lots of cool people.
i talked to cameron strang about an internship next summer.
my shoulders and feet hurt.

wednesday = last day of cba

more free books.
more cool people.
more pain.
i did see santa claus.
i didn’t get to hang out with stanley leary.
but i did sit in my car for 2 hours on georgia 400 because of a bad wreck.

here’s what i saw:

here’s how i kept myself entertained:

well, that, and i read.

and sang.
and thought.

i’ll share my thoughts later.

did i mention that life is good?
“for while in Him confiding, i cannot but rejoice…”
